Report a dirty street or land that needs cleaning
We clean and maintain many streets across Swindon. You can report problems such as litter, broken glass or debris on the highway using our online form.
We are responsible for:
- street cleaning
- removing fallen leaves
- emptying litter and cigarette bins
- collecting litter
- removing broken glass
- removing debris from roads
Street cleaning in Highworth is carried out by Highworth Town Council.
Report a street cleaning issue
Regular cleaning schedules
We clean Swindon town centre, Old Town and retail areas between 6.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Cleaning in other areas
We carry out a focused deep clean in each area for one day every month.
We also work with partner organisations to tackle environmental issues linked to anti-social behaviour.
We empty litter bins daily and aim to remove reported hypodermic needles within four hours. Response times may be longer for reports made between 5.00pm and 7.00am.
