SIAS - Swindon SEND information, advice and support service

Swindon SEND Information, Advice and Support Service (SIAS), previously known as SENDIASS, provides free, impartial and confidential information, advice and support for:

  • children and young people aged 0 to 25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
  • parents and carers of children and young people with SEND

You do not need an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan to access this service.


What we offer

  • Free: our support is available at no cost
  • Impartial: we do not take sides
  • Confidential: we will not share what we discuss unless you give your permission
  • Training and advice: we also support local education, health and social care professionals with training and guidance
