Swindon's HWRC closed due to ongoing fire incident
Firefighters from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently on site dealing with a fire at Swindon’s Household Waste and Recycling Centre (HWRC) in Cheney Manor industrial estate.

The fire started in the site’s waste processing plant at around 10.50am and nine fire crews are currently at the scene. No one has been injured as a result of the incident.
The HWRC is currently closed and residents who have booked appointments at the recycling centre have been advised not to attend today.
