Local builders and designers recognised at awards ceremony
Building Excellence awards recognises local builders and designers producing good compliance and excellent standards of work.

Over 40 individuals came together at an awards ceremony to celebrate local builders and designers.
The Building Excellence awards were hosted by Swindon Borough Council’s Building Control team at the end of last week in the Council Chamber in the Civic Offices to recognise local builders and designers who have worked well on a project, producing good compliance and excellent standards of work.
All finalists and those who were highly commended for seven different categories were invited to the event to receive a certificate for their achievement.
The Mayor, Maureen Penny, presented the certificates and a raffle raised £250 for the Mayor’s charities Jesse May and Swindon Cares.
