The Council’s School Admissions team today (16 April) also confirmed that 99.3% per cent of children received a place at one of their three preferred schools.

The deadline for applying for primary school places was 15 January 2026, and parents who applied online will receive an email offer today.

Kashif Nawaz, Swindon Borough Council’s Director of Education, said: “I’m really pleased that so many children have been offered a place at one of their preferred primary schools for this September.

“Our Admissions team works incredibly hard to make sure families across Swindon have access to the places they need and today’s results reflect that effort.

“I’d like to thank the team for their commitment and I wish all our new Reception pupils and their families the very best as they begin an exciting new chapter.”

If parents have any queries regarding primary school places for this September, they should email schooladmissions@swindon.gov.uk or contact the school directly.
