The September 2026 allocation continues the Borough’s strong record of matching pupils with their preferred schools.
Of the 2,915 on‑time applications submitted, 97 per cent of children secured a place at one of their top three preferred schools.
Offer emails have today (2 March) been sent to all parents who applied before the national deadline last October. Parents are reminded to log into their parent portal to accept their child’s place so that schools can begin planning for the new academic year.
Councillor Adorabelle Amaral‑Shaikh, Cabinet Member for Education, praised the work behind the scenes.
“Our School Admissions team have done an excellent job managing nearly three thousand applications,” said Cllr Amaral-Shaikh. “It’s fantastic to see that nine in 10 pupils will be receiving their first‑choice school.
“I would also like to thank parents across the Borough for their cooperation through this process and for making the admission a seamless process. I wish all our Year 6 pupils every success as they prepare for their move to secondary school.”
Parents with queries about their child’s offer can contact the School Admissions team at schooladmissions@swindon.gov.uk or reach out to the school directly.
