Safeguarding children in education

We provide advice and support to help education settings strengthen safeguarding practice and procedures across Swindon.

What we do

Our core responsibilities include:

  • deliver termly designated safeguarding lead network meetings
  • manage safeguarding audits to support compliance and good practice
  • provide advice and guidance on safeguarding issues
  • offer single-agency safeguarding training for education professionals

We work closely with the Swindon Safeguarding Partnership to support local multi-agency safeguarding arrangements.
