Food businesses must register with the local authority before they start operating.
Before you report a food business
Most food businesses in Swindon appear on the Food Standards Agency food hygiene ratings website.
A business may not appear if it is:
- exempt
- new
- under new ownership
After a business registers with us, we will carry out a routine food hygiene inspection. Its food hygiene rating will appear on the Food Standards Agency website 28 days after the inspection.
