Multi agency safeguarding hub
If you are concerned about a child or are looking for advice about a child, and would like to speak with a duty social worker, get in touch with The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) using the contact details below.
MASH is the front door service, a team made up of social workers, police officers and health and education staff who aim to protect vulnerable children and young people.
The service aims to provide a rapid and effective response to all new safeguarding concerns. This might be where someone needs support, is concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person, or thinks a child or young person may be at risk of harm.
If you think that a child is in immediate danger, contact the police emergency line by dialling 999.
MASH office hours
Normal office hours are 8.30am to 4.40pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am to 4.00m on Friday. Call 01793 466903 and choose Option 2, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Out of hours
The Emergency Duty Service (EDS) provides an emergency contact point for all aspects of social work in Swindon outside normal office hours. This includes cover during the night, weekends and bank holidays.
The EDS is available on 01793 436699.
