Upgrade to over-counter payments and card payment made over the phone

An upgrade of the corporate finance system is taking place from 21 to 23 May 2018. Customers experiencing problems paying for goods/ services over this period should contact the relevant service team.

PayByPhone for parking

PayByPhone is a quick, secure and convenient way to pay for parking. Instead of having to find the right change for a Pay and Display machine, you can simply use a smart phone to pay and have it charged to your credit or debit card.

Register to use PayByPhone

Before you can use the PayByPhone service you must register your vehicle and payment card details. You only need to do this once and then you can use the service whenever you need to pay for parking.

Using the text reminder service

You can choose to receive reminder texts so that you always know when your parking session is about to end. You no longer need to hurry back to your vehicle as you can use your mobile phone to top up from wherever you are.

Costs

The mobile phone payment service costs an extra 10p where the charge is less than £2, and 20p when it is £2 or more. This is over and above the standard ticket price.

The text reminder option is a further 10p.

A receipt of payment confirmation is sent to you when you have paid. VAT receipts are available free online or by e-mail.
