Statement of Licensing Policy update 2025 consultation
We have undertaken a thorough review of our Statement of Licensing Policy.
This Policy details what the Licensing Authority expects from applicants, offers guidance to anyone affected by a licence application, and supports responsible authorities in carrying out their duties. It also helps the Licensing Committee make decisions and sets out how the Authority will use its local discretion under the law.
We are seeking the views of our residents, the licensed trade, as well as relevant stakeholders in relation to the proposed updated policy.

Statement of Licensing Policy consultation survey
The consultation will run until Tuesday, 10 February 2026.
After the consultation closes, all responses will be collated and the information will be presented to members of the licensing committee.
