Join the Mayor of Swindon and civic guests at the Cenotaph, Regent Circus, for the Armistice Day Service at 11.00am.
The Armistice Day Service will take place at the Cenotaph, Regent Circus, on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, beginning at 11.00am.
The ceremony will be led by civic, military and faith representatives and will include prayers, readings, and a two-minute silence to mark the moment the guns fell silent at the end of the First World War.
The service will feature:
- Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire – Shirley Ludford
- The Worshipful the Mayor of Swindon – Councillor Fay Howard
- Lt. Col. James Arkell
- Bishop of Swindon – Neil Warwick
- Reverend Mark Tidey
- Trumpeter – Steve Yorke
All are welcome to attend and observe the two-minute silence in remembrance of those who have served and sacrificed.
