Lydiard Park Christmas Lights Switch On

Enjoy live music and traditional carols, meet Swindon Wildcats’ mascot Scratch, and watch as the Mayor of Swindon lights up Lydiard’s magnificent cypress tree.

Tuck into seasonal food and drinks throughout the evening and then head to Lydiard Park Hotel for comforting pie and mash, or burgers and frankfurters to take away.

The Coach House tea rooms will be open too, serving hot drinks, confectionery and offering a selection of Christmas gifts. Plus, this year, they're excited to welcome Gurt Wings – treat yourself to freshly fried chicken, cheesy STIX and crispy tater tots!

Steven Hill Funfairs will bring plenty of festive fun for the little ones, with Hook a Santa, children’s rides and a candy stall.

Entry is free and there’s no need to book – just wrap up warm and head to the main lawn outside Lydiard House.
