What our priorities are and how we are doing
We have set out our vision, priorities and pledges in a series of web pages.

There are four priorities. Each of these comprise a number of pledges, totalling 26 pledges.
- Priority one (pledges one to six): Improve infrastructure and housing to support a growing, low-carbon economy
- Priority two (pledges seven to 11): Offer education opportunities that lead to the right skills and right jobs in the right places
- Priority three (pledges 12 to 16): Ensure clean and safe streets and improve our public spaces and local culture
- Priority four (pledges 17 to 26): Help people to help themselves while always protecting our most vulnerable children and adults
