Public spaces protection orders in operation

We have the responsibility for making public spaces protection orders (PSPOs). However, enforcement powers are much broader. Police officers and police community support officers (PCSOs) also have responsibility for enforcing an order.

Any person found to be in breach of the restrictions may receive an on-the-spot fixed penalty notice (FPN).
