Swindon Schools HR Service has a portfolio of practical HR policies and guidance documents specifically tailored to support school leaders in exercising their responsibilities in relation to staffing matters.  These documents have been developed to support and promote an employment environment  which values staff and encourages them to deliver excellence through sound employment practices, positive staff relations and effective performance management processes.  The documents are intended for all maintained schools and those schools/Academies that buy into Swindon’s HR Service.

Health/Staff Wellbeing and Attendance:  Supporting Headteachers in managing staff absence and promotes staff wellbeing.  Includes details of  EAP (Care First) and OH services (IMASS).

HR Newsletters and Updates:  Updating School Leaders on all new employment and education legislation.
