That’s why it’s important to know how to stay safe and prepared. 

The different types of severe weather that may be caused, or made worse by climate change, are detailed below:

If you need a safe place to keep warm in winter or to cool down during hot weather, you can visit one of Swindon’s Welcome Spaces. A Welcome Space is a council or community venue open for residents to spend time, meet others, and find shade in hot weather or warmth in cold weather.
