You can stream thousands of newspapers from over 100 countries and in 60 languages. Select and read from a choice of over 3000 magazines covering a huge range of subjects. Access over 2000 comics from Marvel, Disney, Image, Dark Horse and IDW. All with unlimited access and always available with no waiting.

The Libby app is easy to use and will guide you through the setup process to get you connected to our library in just a few minutes. You will just need your device, your library card number and PIN number to get started.

You can download the Libby app from the IOS, Android, or Windows 10 app store. The minimum system requirements are IOS 10 and Android 5.

For Kindle Fire tablet users the Amazon Store doesn’t have the Libby app available to download currently, but you can stream titles in your browser or via our Overdrive website.

To get started:

  • open the app and select 'I’ll search for my library' and then enter 'Swindon'.
  • enter library card and PIN number
  • select 'next' to enter our collection of magazines, newspapers and comics

You are now ready to start downloading and reading the collection.

Alternatively, you can sign in with your library card and PIN on the Swindon Libraries Libby website to read the magazines, newspapers and comics via your browser on your PC or laptop.

Please note: MS Internet Explorer will be retired on June 15, 2022 by Microsoft. Please use an alternative up to date browser.
