Swindon SENDi and AP Strategy 2023-2028 survey

This survey will remain open until Friday, 9 December at 4.00pm.

The Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) and Inclusion Strategy is a key document that will outline Swindon’s vision for SEND and Alternative Provision (AP) over the coming five years. It outlines the identified priorities that we will be working towards.

The current document is titled the Swindon Special Educational Needs, Disabilities and Inclusion Strategy 2020-2023, however in the next strategy we are also including Alternative Provision (AP).

You can read the current strategy below:

The new strategy will be in place for the next 5 years, and will include local and national data to provide a picture of Swindon SEND. This will then help us to determine how we move forward to improve outcomes and achievement for children and young people with SEND in Swindon.

In order to make sure the strategy reflects what everyone thinks, we are currently co-producing with our children, young people and their families, both internal, and external colleagues, stakeholders and partners, as well as the Swindon community in order to collect as many ideas and opinions as possible.

We would like to hear your views as part of this consultation. The online survey below will give you the opportunity to let us know what you think.
