A much-altered house of monastic origin, the present buildings dating from the early 16th Century, with notable Queen Anne alterations and Edwardian renovation by Colonel Jenner. The topiary and flower gardens contain medieval walls, ancient box and numerous 'rooms'.
Please note that the manor house is occupied and furnished by private tenants, who open a part of it to visitors. Owing to restricted space, timed tickets may be in operation at busy times.
