Places to Stay

Places to Stay

In Swindon and in the surrounding area you'll find an excellent selection of international hotels (many with their own leisure facilities), elegant country houses and family-run guest houses. If you prefer a rural setting, there is a wide choice of village accommodation, including pubs and farm houses that are just minutes away from the centre of Swindon. Many hotels offer special reduced rates for short breaks.

Swindon is a major regional business centre and has become increasingly popular as a tourist destination, so demand for accommodation is high - particularly during weekdays. Booking in advance with the hotel of your choice is strongly recommended.

Swindon's Tourist Information Centre Can Help You!

If you arrive without prior booking, Swindon's Tourist Information Centre offers a free booking service and can also make advanced reservations for your next destination. This service is available to personal callers at the centre Monday to Saturday 9.15am-4.00pm.

The centre can also provide you with a copy of the Swindon Visitor Guide, which lists details of many local hotels and guest houses, their approximate price ranges, accommodation grading and facilities offered. The guide also details the many top attractions, events and places you can visit while staying in Swindon.
