Service Details

We are responsible for maintaining all Council-owned car parks within the Borough of Swindon. These comprise:

• Multi-storey car parks (three of which are barrier controlled).
• 24-hour car parks.
• 48-hour car parks.
• Park and ride sites.

Regular inspections of these are undertaken and any defects found are programmed for repair by our technical support unit.

Although the regular inspections capture most of the defects that occur, sometimes deterioration or damage occurs between inspections. As such we would like you to let us know if you notice any defect so that an ad-hoc inspection and remedial work can be carried out.

• 01793 445501 (Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm; Saturday 9am to 1pm)

Car Park Cleaning
Cleaning, and maintaining the cleanliness of, Swindon Borough Council car parks.

Lift Maintenance
Maintenance and repair of broken, out-of-action and damaged lifts, located within Swindon Borough Council car parks.

Car Park Signage
Repair and replacement of damaged signage such as broken tariff boards and directional signs, boundary signs and illuminated car park signs.

Car Park Equipment
Repair or replacement of car park equipment such as Pay and Display Machines, bollards, barriers and railings.

Car Park Markings
Maintenance and re-lining of bay markings, pedestrian areas and hatched areas.

Car Park Lighting
Maintenance and repair of faulty car park lighting and other illuminated signage within the car park.
