Volunteer Rangers

Do You Like a Challenge?

Why not help Swindon Ranger Team to preserve, conserve and manage Swindon's many parks and open spaces?

How Can You Help?

By assisting the full-time staff. This may be as part of the regular work programmes, or on individual projects, activities and events.

What Work Will You Do?

The volunteers carry out a various number of tasks. However, it's not necessarily all manual work. Volunteer rangers may get involved in helping to run, organise and deliver events such as guided walks, wildlife workshops and lanterns on the lake.

How Much Commitment is Required?

Any time you have to offer will be very much valued and appreciated.

What's In It For You?

What Will You Need?

Initially you will be required to provide your own overalls and safety boots, though other protective clothing will be issued once you have shown your commitment to being a volunteer ranger.
