Angling

Coate Water Angling Information

Coate Water Country Park has a 56-acre freshwater fishing lake which can be fished between 16 June and 14 March (the fishing season).

You will need to obtain a fishing permit for the lake and also hold a National Rod Licence (please see below).

Day Tickets

Day tickets can be purchaesd on the bank. Set on an allocated fishing peg and a Ranger will come and collect your money for the day ticket.

24-hour Season Ticket

This is only available from the Angling Development Officer at The Rangers Centre, Coate Water Country Park, Marlborough Road, Swindon, SN3 6AA or telephone (01793) 490150. It should be noted that there are limited 24hr season tickets available and first preference goes to local residents. There is also a waiting list for these at present.
