As The Ting Tings prepare to embark on their fully sold out UK tour this Saturday, we are pleased to announce a whole new set of shows in 2009.
As demand for the Autumn tour exceeded all reasonable expectations, The Tings Tings are about to put seven new dates on sale. Kicking off at the Glasgow Academy at the end of February, they will call in hometown Manchester, Leeds, Wolverhampton, Portsmouth, Swindon and culminate in a triumphant show at Brixton Academy on March 6.
The Salford based duo recently won the Best UK Video for’ Shut Up And Let Me Go’ at this years MTV Video Music Awards, this was in addition to being invited to play at the ceremony in LA a couple of weeks ago. Good times.
So if you’ve missed out on scoring a ticket for the September and October tour, here’s your next chance to catch the chart topping British band only one year on from releasing their first chart-eligible single ‘Great DJ’ in March 08.
