Hi5 Holiday Camp

Hi5 Holiday Camp - Oasis

Our Hi5 holiday camp generally runs from Monday to Friday, except on bank holidays.

Children aged four (must be attending school) to 12 years are accepted at camp.

All staff have undergone in-house training courses that include child protection and welfare, all staff have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau to ensure that they have no convictions that should preclude them from working with children

See: Holiday Camps Guidelines for Parents/Guardians (downloadable pdf file)

Our camp is registered with OFSTED, and the programme encompasses the criteria laid down in their guidelines. We have created an environment that covers all aspects of a child's well-being, including emotional and social activities which come in the form of role plays/acting, discos/dancing, name games, circle games, songs/singing and relay games.

Team and ball games like football, short tennis, basketball and hockey, plus roller skating, trampolining and the bouncy castle all help develop the children's gross motor skills.

Story-telling, watching videos and singing all help the child's cognitive skills, whilst arts and crafts develop fine motor skills.

All of the skills above are incorporated into the day, to allow your children to continue to development in a fun environment.

Registration

All children must be pre-booked into camp and a parent/guardian must complete an application form which provides the camp supervisor with basic information, such as children's allergies/medical conditions that we need to be aware of, and an emergency contact number of the parent/guardian.

All children must be signed in at the start of camp and signed out at the end by the parent/guardian. If the child is to be collected by someone other than the signatory, staff at the centre must be informed at the time of registration.

Lunch Arrangements

Lunch may be purchased at the start of camp, either hot (burger, cheeseburger, sausage, veggie-sausage or chicken nuggets) or cold (sandwiches: either cheese, ham, peanut butter or jam) at an additional cost. Purchased meals come with fries, a piece of fruit and a small drink. Alternatively, children may bring a packed lunch.
