How to Use Netloan

How to Use Netloan

Booking a Session

Computers can be booked using Netloan up to one week in advance.

Netloan is the self-service system used to administer the use of the public access computers in our libraries.

Please enter your library membership card number and password then click Login. Please enter your library membership card number and password then click Login.

The main page will be displayed:

Select the reservation menu and then select the library and group, in which you wish to make the booking. The following screen will be displayed:

To the right of the page is a table of reservations on the units in the chosen group. The different colours of the reservation represent different kinds of reservations.

If you click on a reservation to select it, the chosen reservation turns yellow.

To the left of the screen is a calendar. In the calendar you can click on the date you wish to make a reservation for. Above the date table are shortcuts to today and tomorrow. You can change the month by selecting the arrows.

Below the calendar is the 'Create Reservation' box. You can choose the unit and which timespan you wish to reserve.

You can also choose a unit and timespan by clicking in the graphical overview (white spaces).

Click 'Create' to complete the process.

Editing and Deleting Reservations

To edit or delete a reservation, click on it in the table.

If you wish to delete the reservation click 'Delete'

If you wish to edit the reservation, change the timespan or the unit and click 'Save'.

If you wish to move the reservation to another day you must first delete the existing reservation and then make a new reservation on the desired date.

Find a Free Slot

In the reservation menu, an item called 'Find a Free Slot' can be found at each library. This page can be used to find available timeslots on the current day.

Search for Reservations

In the reservations menu, an item called 'Find Reservations' can be used to search for reservations.

You can choose to search for all future reservations or specify a certain interval. All reservations that match the search criteria are shown in a list.
