Magic Kitten: Summer Spell by Sue Bentley

This is about a girl that goes to her aunt's house and finds a magic kitten that has powers in her aunt's barn.

I enjoyed this book because you wonder what's going to happen next, and if you like kittens this is the book for you.

Recommended for 10 year olds

This book is about a boy called Will who is going on a trip but he thinks it is boring. Then he is taken over by a ghost. He is the one who has to avenge a saxon.

I enjoyed this book because it was really spooky and exciting.

I would recommend this book to children aged 9-15.

This book is about 2 girl Orphans who go with their Nan to once upon a time land

The best book I have ever read,(enjoyed very much)it was magical and heart warming some bits were sad and other bits were really happy

The Fairytale Detectives: Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley

This book is about 2 girls who live in an orphanage when one day their Grandmother wanted to foster them, well the 2 little girls were not as keen on them as the foster people, but found out they weren't as bad as what they thought they were

I enjoyed this book because it was magical and it just took you away when you started to open and read. I was really impressed at this book because the front cover didn't look  as good as what it was. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to any book lover!

I would recommend this book to children aged 9 and over

This book is about a boy who buys a parrot and two ghost cats and a ghost boy follow him around. But then Captain Smelly comes and his wife comes and chases him away.

I like this book because it was funny.

Ralph the Magic Rabbit by Adam Frost

This book is about lots of animals that want to see Ralph the magic rabbit to get something done to them a bit like in the wizard of oz and its really funny because their luck keeps on changing and lots of problems start to happen.

I enjoyed this book because it was really funny and adventurous. Every time we had to stop reading I just couldn't wait until our next reading time.

I recommend this book for ages 6 - 10

This book is about a cat called Rusty. A pet cat decides to leave home and become a warrior for Thunderclan, a group of wildcats. There are four clans of wildcats.

I enjoyed this book because I think that the story line was interesting.

This book is about a house cat called Rusty who goes looking for a mouse in the forest when he bumps into a big group of cats (the thunder clan): from that day on he becomes a warrior cat

I enjoyed the book because it's very long with small writing and Rusty couldn't tell Smudge's scent and nearly ripped him to pieces!

I recommend this book to children aged 9 and up

I enjoyed this book because it's exciting and has a great storyline if you have entered a competition.

Oliver Pie found a Griffin. His Dad sold the griffin. Oliver becomes angry with Dad. Oliver goes into hospital, the griffin vists him and they travel back in time.

I enjoyed this book because it was different and it was a magical story. I enjoyed this book also because it had very good illustrations.

I would recommed this book to chidlren aged 8 to12.

This book is about two boys called Goerge and Harold and they make a comic about Captin Underpants.They added some superheros. One of the superheros was called the talking toilet. Goerge and Harold had good fun making the comic. George did all of the writing because he liked writing. Harold drew all of the pictures because he liked drawing so much.

I enjoyed this book because it has got funny parts in.

I would recommend this book to children aged 8 years old.
