Book Prescription Scheme
Swindon Libraries in collaboration with Swindon Primary Care Trust are working with local doctors and mental health professionals to offer this scheme to those who want to use books to help themselves.
A list of recommended self-help books have been bought for libraries across the borough.
A prescription is issued by health professionals which can then be exchanged for the book at your local library.
