Angling around Swindon

Welcome to the angling section of the Swindon Borough Council website. Over the next few months we intend to develope a comprehensive guide to angling in Swindon. This will give information about the different fisheries, angling club memberships, where and how to apply, latest catch reports, current top tips, special features, forthcoming events and a whole lot more.

Stanton Park Lake, great for Tench and Pike

Can I talk to someone now?

Please send your suggestions to Mark Jennings, or if you would like to talk to him why not give him a call at Coate Water on 01793 490150.

Don't Forget

It is a legal requirement to possess a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence when freshwater fishing in England and Wales, unless you are under 12 years old.

These are available from all Post Offices.

If you're setting out this week "Good luck and tight lines!"
