After school Club

After School Club - Haydon Centre

Our After School Club at the Haydon Centre provides a safe environment where children are cared for after school until you are able to collect them. It runs from Monday to Friday during term time (excluding Bank Holidays and teacher training days). The centre is Ofsted registered and inspected on a regular basis to ensure complience with the stringent requirements that are in place to provide childcare facilities of the highest quality. Activities vary from sports, games, art 'n' crafts to watching T.V and videos. Children who have homework to complete can do so under the supervision of our qualified staff.

Our aims

We aim to provide:

Children aged from 4 (must be attending school full time) to 12 years will be accepted at the club (i.e.: of primary school age).

All staff have undergone training and have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau to ensure that they have no convictions that should preclude them from working with children.

Our staff collect children from the following schools

We regret that we are unable to collect children from any other school at present.

Registration

All children must be pre-booked into our After School Club and parents/guardians must complete an application form which provides the club with basic information such as children's allergies/medical conditions that we need to be aware of, and an emergency contact number of the parent/guardian.

Tea Arrangements

Children must bring a packed meal (please note that we are unable to keep food refrigerated). There are however vending machines at reception that contain a selection of sweets and drinks.

Children will not be allowed to share food or drink.
