Swimming Pool - Dorcan Recreation Complex

East Swindon's only swimming pool is a 20 metre traditional pool which caters for a wide range of water based activities.

Pool Activities

• Adult and Junior swimming courses
• Parent and Toddler swimming courses
• School holiday intensive swimming courses (including Challenge Awards and Stroke Technique courses)
• School holiday Rookie Lifeguard and Personal Survival courses
• Aquafit and Floatation Aerobics sessions
• Casual swimming sessions
• Laned swimming sessions (including a Dawn Dippers early morning laned swim)
• Masters swimming sessions
• Wet 'n' Wild fun sessions for children

Children's Safety Information

As a guide, the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management (ISRM) advise babies should be 6 months plus, due to temperature and Chlorination levels.

Birthday Parties

Celebrate your birthday party in style at one of our swimming pools. Choose from a party where your birthday tea is provided (Link or Oasis) or provide your own party tea (Dorcan or Health Hydro).

There are lots of swimming clubs in the local area.

Wednesdays 8 - 9.30pm. All ages welcome.

Swindon Junior Triathlon Club
Thursdays 7 - 8pm (Pool only)
Sundays 4 - 6pm (first hour in the pool, second hour dryside training)

JC Scuba
Saturdays 4 - 5pm. All ages welcome.

If you use one of our gyms, swim in one of our five pools or use one or more of our 80 fitness classes more than once a week, our X-Training Passport will save you money.
