Fitness Classes - Dorcan Recreation Complex

We offer comprehensive fitness programmes designed to provide all of our customers with a varied and exciting choice of classes. We ensure a high standard of professional practice that is delivered by a dedicated team of qualified instructors.

Multi-level teaching is applied to our classes to ensure that beginners through to advanced participants can attend any class and work at a level most suited to their present level of fitness.

A low-impact class suitable for beginners

and those returning to exercise.

A high-impact class aimed at an intermediate level.

May include some flexibility and toning exercise for an all-round work out.

A challenging high-intensity workout.

Combining high and low impact exercise or intense resistance exercises.

Suitable for the more experienced participants aged 16 years and over.

Floatation Aerobics - Level 1

A low-impact workout, in deeper water with floatation belts, that uses the resistance of the water to strengthen and tone your body.

Aquafit - Level 1

This class is a low-impact workout that uses the resistance of the water to strengthen and tone in a safe environment.

Body Conditioning - Level 2

Focusing on strength, muscular endurance and purposeful fitness conditioning, this class will help to develop a strong and toned physique.

Online Booking

You can now book sporting activities by using our e-bookings procedure. Simply follow the on-screen instructions and look out for the help button, which appears at every stage of the booking.

Please remember that you must have a current SwindonCard to book online. If you do not have a SwindonCard, you can book your activity online, however you will be charged the full Non SwindonCard rate and will need to pay at the time of booking by credit/debit card. If you use one of our gyms, swim in one of our five pools or use one or more of our 80 fitness classes more than once a week, our X-Training Passport will save you money.
