Junior Tiny Tigers

Tiny Tigers Junior Golf

Broome Manor's under twelve’s course, nicknamed 'Tiny Tigers', has proven to be an outstanding success since it opened in 2002. Boys and girls between the ages of six and twelve years have thoroughly enjoyed themselves on a 'proper course'.

The set-up is on our nine-hole course, with tee markers on the side of each fairway. Holes vary in length from 63 yards to 165 yards, with a total course length of 950 yards. Play is to the normal green. This enables an adult and a junior to lay together with the adult playing the full length of the course.

There is no doubt that this kind of course set-up has had a considerable impact on junior golf over the last few years. We pride ourselves at being at the forefront of encouraging juniors into the game and feel that the Tiny Tigers course is a big step forward. There is now an opportunity to offer competitive golf to the under 12s, played on a proper golf course.

We hold Tiny Tigers competitions from April through to October each year. The competitions have four age group categories:

Broome Manor Golf Club now has a thriving junior membership.
