Sheltered Housing

Sheltered Housing in Swindon

Sheltered housing is a popular choice for many people with a variety of housing needs. You need to be over 60, or over 50 and on disability living allowance and have no pets.

Whether you currently rent from the council or other landlords or own your own home, you can apply to go onto the waiting list.

To make life even simpler, the council shares its waiting list with most other registered social landlords (sometimes called housing associations), so completing one form will mean you can be considered for over 50 schemes throughout the Swindon area.

Although each scheme is slightly different, within the majority of schemes you will find:

Most importantly, sheltered housing can provide a sense of independence in a happy environment with the knowledge that help is on hand if required.

Why Choose Anything Else?

There are usually a number of one-bedroom and studio flats available for rent immediately. If you are keen to move quickly we may be able to help you sooner than you think.

If you wish to apply for sheltered accommodation please download the application form below, complete it and send it to us (the return address is on the form).
