Council Tax Benefit - Home Visits

Help with Your Claim for Benefit

Are you someone who has difficulty in visiting the Civic Offices, or would benefit from a home visit?

If you have:

you fall within the home visit criteria, and we can visit you in your own home to help you with your claim for benefit.

A visit will be arranged within 2 days of you contacting us. If you are out when we call, a visiting card will be left with details of who to contact to make another appointment.

Your Safety and Protection

All our visiting officers carry Swindon Borough Council identification cards.  You should not allow anyone into your home without proper identification.  If you have any doubts, please call our Visiting Team Admin Officer on 01793 464222 to confirm it is one of our officers calling on you.
