Every domestic property has been allocated one of eight bands according to its estimated sale value on April 1, 1991. New properties are valued as if they had existed in 1991.
The table below shows the values used for each band. Bands are allocated by the Listing Officer of the Valuation Office Agency and not Swindon Borough Council. These bands are the same throughout England.
