Dealing With Floods

Changing weather patterns in recent years have resulted in many instances of localised flooding ... not just in Swindon, but throughout large parts of the UK. When floods occur they can be devasting for all concerned and the effects can last for weeks, or even months.

Getting Advice

The responsibility for dealing with the effects of flooding rests with a number of different organisations, depending on the nature of the problem. These organisations work together to help people to cope in the short term and to recover in the long term.
