Ecological Footprint

The Ecological Footprint is an environment quiz, which has been developed by the Environmental Quality unit of the Bristol City Council. They have very kindly given Swindon Borough Council permission to promote it.

Why not take some time to calculate your ecological footprint? Answer 17 questions about your use and consumption of energy, water, food and commodities to see how big an impact you have on the Earth's Resources.

To obtain copies of the quiz please e-mail Gillian Chandler at gchandler@swindon.gov.uk. Please specify if you would like it sent to you as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet attachment to an e-mail message or as a paper copy.

The spreadsheet is easy to use - simply work through the questions and click on the answers that relate to you. At the end of the quiz it calculates a score: the higher the score, the more impact you have on the earth's resources.
