Interlending

Interlending Services

Books that are not held by Swindon Libraries can be borrowed from other libraries around the country through the interlibrary loans service.

Swindon belongs to a network of public libraries that enables us to borrow books that are not held in our own stock, once that item is over six months old. Articles from a periodical can also be obtained as a photocopy. Interlibrary loans carry an additional charge. See Fees and Charges for further details.

Sound and Vision items are excluded from this service.

Music and Drama Sets

Music and play sets may be requested by music or drama groups, through the interlibrary loans service. There is a charge for this service.

See: Fees and Charges for further details
