What We Do
We work in partnership to inspire and support citizens of Swindon to fulfil personal potential and to collectively advance the well-being of their communities.
We Do This By:
- Engaging with citizens, communities and neighbourhoods to establish priorities and build capacity to tackle the issues.
- Communicating the priorities that emerge from local consultations, local and central government policy
- Encouraging a culture of participation in the democratic life of the community.
- Empowering communities to play a central role in the transformation of Swindon
- Providing and supporting community facilities that respond to the priorities of the community
- Delivering and promoting learning that inspires individuals and communities to fulfil their potential
- Supporting people and organisations to deliver sustainable and quality services that address the priorities of Swindon
- Taking an Integral approach to our thinking, practice and relationships. Integral means more balanced, comprehensive, interconnected and whole
