The role of the "U turn" team

Information Sharing and Confidentiality

In order to work effectively with young people, most of our services are confidential. However, we work towards the Every Child Matters agenda and will share information with relevant agencies if we have reason to believe the young person is at risk of serious harm. We will discuss this with the young person before doing so. We also explain our confidentiality policy to the young person at their first meeting.
