Memorial Benches

Memorial Benches

For a number of years a Memorial Bench Fund has been established. Donations are invited from relatives and friends who are interested in the dedication of a bench in someone’s memory. Donations are also invited from groups who wish to commemorate a particular event or anniversary.

For information about costs of memorial services please click on the link below

Table of Fees

Memorial Benches will bear a commemorative bronze plaque, the cost of which will be included in the donation.

Benches will normally be placed at Kingsdown Crematorium, Whitworth Road Cemetery, Queens Park or Town Gardens. It is felt unwise to place benches in streets where they are more likely to be damaged by accident or vandalism. Should the donor ask for a particular site the request will be sympathetically considered to its suitability and availability of space. Seats will vary in design dependant on its site.
