There are a range of options available to those who wish to purchase a grave in Swindon. We aim to offer choices that give you some individuality.

How to choose and purchase a grave

In all cases, you should contact our Superintendent and Registrar to discuss your requirements. The Superintendent and Registrar can help you select a grave, and guide you through the purchase process. The contact details are shown below:

Who can buy a grave?

Anyone can purchase a grave in Swindon, but the purchase fee is doubled for non-residents of the borough. A summary of fees is available. Please click onto the following link.

Payment for the grave can be made over the telephone on (01793) 822259 or in person at Kingsdown Crematorium.

What am I actually buying?

A grave can be purchased at need or you can buy the right to use it for 75 years. During the 75 years, the grave cannot be used without your written permission. You can renew your ownership for another 75 years at the end of the initial period. It should be noted that there is limited availability for buying the grave for 75 years
