Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)

Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)

Swindon Borough Council is committed to making its contracts more accessible to small and medium- sized enterprises (SMEs) and has embraced the Small Business Concordat: Good Practice for Local Authorities. The Concordat facilitates effective trade between local authorities and SMEs.

The Council recognises the need to build its supplier base, both for improving the quality of services locally and for leveraging the types of savings identified in the Efficiency Review.

By signing up to the Concordat we have pledged to comply with a range of commitments which includes providing better access to contract opportunities for SMEs.
