Wiltshire & Swindon Intelligence Network

Wiltshire & Swindon Intelligence Network

The Wiltshire and Swindon Intelligence Network has been developed in response to the ever-growing demand for local data, be it for developing local strategies, funding applications, assisting local decision-making, or school and college work. The Network consists of a number of key organisations in Wiltshire and Swindon who are involved in the collection of local data. Until now, this data has been held by the separate organisations in different formats. It is often difficult to know what data exists or who can supply it. Our aim is to improve access to information in Wiltshire and Swindon by providing a 'one-stop shop' for key local data and to present it in a consistent format that is easy to understand and use. Where possible, we provide the option to select data at different geographical levels and in different formats, such as table, chart or map format.

In order to improve access to local reports, we have developed an electronic library. In the library, you can find details of key reports published by the Network partners. Where possible, we have provided electronic links to the reports so that you can download them for instant access.

Also on the website, you will find profiles for each of Wiltshire's 20 community areas. These profiles include sections on history, local data and summary factsheets.
