Exhibitions

Culture Swindon hosts a number of free exhibitions at both the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery and Swindon Arts Centre, both in Old Town. Why not pop in and have a look?

Now and Then

On during March 2010.

A Creative Photographic exhibition by Josie Williams LMPA

During March Swindon photographer Josie Williams (LMPA) stages a creative photographic exhibition at the Arts Centre. Josie is a long established photographer with a career spanning over 25 years in both creative arts and press. During that time she has had many solo exhibitions most famously the Wiltshire Hall of Fame, featuring celebrities who lived or were born in the county. Her other notable exhibition was The Light Fantastic which features photographs of the M4 at night time, but captured in such a way as to take the images dimension of creative swirls of light and alien destinations.

In recent years her role has been to inspire young minds, working as the Community Arts Development Officer at Commonweal School. In her job she photographs events and this is the main stay of her new work which makes up her new exhibition, Now and Then.
