On Sunday 10 August, an audience at the Victoria pub in Old Town witnessed the finale of another hugely successful year for the Swindon Shuffle. We saw huge performances from 42 local bands over 4 days and 5 venues, with headline slots from 2 Sick Monkeys, The Alfonz, Durera and Beatbullyz.
Big thanks to all those who came along and made the event such a great success, you can rest assured your efforts have helped to ensure that this event has a long and prosperous future.
To those of you who haven't yet heard of the Shuffle, it is an annual venue festival, celebrating the best local talent, in the best local venues in Swindon. It's a chance to quickly update yourself on what's hot and what's not in Swindon's live music scene.
This year, Create Studio's produced a promo video. Although you have missed the chance to see it on the BBC Big Screen, you can still watch it on youtube. This should give you a good idea of what to expect next year when the mayhem starts all over again.
