Visiting Swindon

FluxMobile

FluxMobile

After a year of planning, design and building, Flux was delighted to launch its new state-of-the-art mobile digital studio. North Swindon residents were the first to see the sleek silver Airstream vehicle up and running and ready to deliver a programme of workshops, screenings and events for children and young people. Working in partnership with Artsmad, the vehicle and its programme is being managed by Mobile Media, the outreach project of Create Studios.

Staffed by professional digital artists, the vehicle moves between schools, youth groups and community settings. Activities, such as animation, web design and film making, will be developed and refined in North Swindon through the Flux programme and will then move to other parts of Swindon to benefit young people from many neighbourhoods.
