What is SWIFT?

Swindon's Workplace Initiative For Transport (SWIFT) is Swindon's forum for organisations who want to work together to save money, improve staff retention and improve their environmental image. If your company has a Travel Plan or is currently developing one you will be able to use SWIFT as a platform to discuss best practice and share successes and challenges.

As well as regular meetings on transport themes, SWIFT will also offer its members a variety of services including:

A travel plan starter pack for implementing the different components of a travel plan and advice and support through the process of developing the plan.
A large online resource of case studies, advice and information
E-mail newsletters with help, ideas and support
Free use of the www.carshareswindon.com website (car sharing scheme), including access to free marketing and promotional items for employees.
Access to materials that can be used to promote sustainable transport such as posters, bus maps, Dr Bike banner
Free postcode mapping service

What's New

Newsletter

We publish a SWIFT newsletter twice a year, in summer and winter. We can e-mail these to you electronically, send you a hard copy, or you can read them from this site.

Workshop
